“The layout looks in magnificent condition; it has everything you could possible want … course is in terrific condition and the manicured bushes behind most greens are a nice feature. The flag positions are tricky enough to provide a real challenge.”

“Played here after seeing it change hands now under new ownership, lots being done to improve what has been a hidden little gem. Greenskeepers have already verticut and top dressed and hollow tined the greens. New ponds and smartly presented. Great value golf. Par-3 was great to play with my six year old; the pitch and putt for my three year old whilst I practiced my chipping with him.”

Sandown Golf Centre is a small, friendly club in the centre of Esher in Surrey. The club is uniquely positioned in the middle of Sandown Park Racecourse and boasts three golf courses for all Standards of golfers. For beginners and children there is a Pitch and Putt course as well as a Par-3 course. The Main Course has a good variety of holes, including three par-5s, quite unusual for a nine-holer.
“If it’s practice you’re after then why not come and hit a bucket of balls in the 33-bay floodlit driving range? Prices are very competitive and you can enjoy practice from morning till night under the floodlights.”

Flag positions are tricky enough to provide a real challenge. Greens have improved over the years and currently best ever condition - top notch for a pay and play.”

“Hidden little gem of a course, great for practice and a 9hole test of golf in under two hours. Very tidy, well-maintained course. Greens surprisingly good for a pay and play. Driving range a real gem.”
“This course has improved dramatically over recent years. It really is a credit to the greenskeepers. I would heartily recommend going there, it's simple but tough!
“Great service, awesome shop and range, friendly and welcoming.”

“Quite surprised by how much this has improved in the last year. The greens are in great condition, they are doing more work on rebuilding bunkers. The 6th is a real test, should be stroke index one. Three big Par-5s that you wouldn't expect in a race course. Great value, great practice for course management, and be back home in two hours.
“The Par-3 is perfect practice for your short game or for a beginner - I take my eight-year-old. Driving range is good (better than Silver Mere). A surprisingly well-stocked golf shop — I had some Mizunos custom-fitted.”
